From Backcountry
Most wheels use the same layup front and rear, even though the two ends of the bike absorb impact differently. The Triad Hydra2 Boost 29in Carbon Wheel builds each end for its own job, and the rear-specific CU-B laminate carries a 25 percent increase in impact strength over the previous generation, right where hard landings and square-edge hits land hardest. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I cased a landing hard enough to hear it, the kind of hit that used to leave a hairline crack on the last version of this wheel, and this one just kept spinning true."
