From Backcountry
From enduro races to lapping our favorite downhill trails, we love the Ibis HD6 for its increased capability, mixed-wheel setup, and insatiable desire to rail chunky trails at Mach speed. The HD6 is a big step up from its older sibling, the HD5, with 15mm of added rear suspension travel and 10mm more fork travel. In addition, the HD6 takes things up a notch and slaps a 29-inch wheel up front while keeping the agile 27. 5-inch wheel in the rear to bring us a mixed-wheel setup for the best of both worlds. With 165mm of DW-Link suspension, the HD6 can bomb technical trails with reckless abandon, can climb like a trail bike, and has a plush yet supportive ride.
