S-hooks loop into a hanging chain or length of rope in order to hang baskets overhead lighting and other light-duty home and office applications. To create a more secure hanging point s-hooks can be opened or closed using pliers. Used in lifting the s-hook can be looped into rope or chain. The s-shape makes attaching and removal of the hook easy. The shape also adds to its strength to distribute weight evenly on both hooks.
