What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The Foamy is the pad I recommend when someone tells me they just can't sleep well camping. Two layers of memory foam at nearly four inches thick does something that inflatable pads and closed-cell foam simply can't — it actually contours to your body and holds its shape through the night. The R-value of 8. 8 makes it legit cold-weather gear too, not just a warm-weather luxury. The linking clips are a nice touch if you want to connect two for a wider sleep surface, and the machine-washable cover is the kind of practical detail that matters after a muddy weekend."There's a version of camping where the gear handles itself and the sleep is actually good.
