What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I have been reaching for the Versalite 1/2-Zip Fleece as my go-to midlayer all season, from ski touring in the morning to hanging around the lodge afterward. The grid fleece regulates temperature surprisingly well on variable output days, and the seam-free sides mean there is nothing digging in under a shell during long efforts."The best midlayer is the one that disappears into the system and lets everything else do its job, and the Helly Hansen Versalite 1/2-Zip Fleece has that quality in full. Whether it is tucked under a shell on a bluebird ski day or worn on its own during an autumn hike, it moves between roles without calling attention to itself.
