The Helle Mandra is a compact fixed blade created in collaboration with outdoorsman Les Stroud for practical cutting tasks where control, portability and a short blade are important. Developed and refined during work in Romania, the design takes its name from the Romanian word for "proud." Its proportions make it suitable for carrying on outdoor trips and handling controlled camp, hunting and general field-cutting chores without the bulk of a larger belt knife. The polished blade measures 69 mm, or approximately 2.7 inches, and is made from Helle's H3LS triple-laminated stainless steel.
