From Trident Fly Fishing
The Hardy Tactus Nymphing Fly Rod is a technical Euro rod that refuses to make you pick one presentation and live with it. Tight-line nymphing asks two contradictory things of a tip: soft enough to register a take and protect fine tippet stiff enough to move a heavy point fly and set at distance. The Tactus Nymph answers that with a two tip system so you can change the character of the rod to match the water instead of changing rods.
