Ultimate protection against water contaminants : The Guardian meets NSF protocol P248, the testing standard used by U.S. military, for the removal of viruses (99.99%), bacteria (99.9999%), protozoa (99.9%), and sediment from "worst-case" water conditions. Fast flow rate for quick and easy purification : The pump-action filter has a flow rate of 2.5 liters per minute and since the 0.02 micron hollow-fiber filter removes viruses as well as other contaminants, there's no need for chemicals, bulbs, batteries, or waiting for secondary measures to take effect.
