Grivel G Zero Ice Axe

From Backcountry

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I grabbed the G Zero for a glacier traverse in the Alps where I needed something dependable without a lot of complexity, and it delivered exactly that. The steel head bites well on hard snow and the aluminum shaft keeps the weight low enough that you barely notice it on a long approach. The removable blade cover is a small touch that makes a real difference when the axe is riding on your pack for hours at a time."Some tools try to do everything, and some tools do exactly what they are supposed to with no wasted effort. The Grivel G Zero Ice Axe falls firmly into the second category.
