The Greys Pace Fly Reel is the reel that quietly outperforms its price tag. Most anglers building a first serious outfit or a backup that will not embarrass itself end up choosing between a reel that feels cheap and one that costs more than the rod. The Pace sidesteps that: it pairs a die-cast frame with a bar-stock drag core and a multi-pad disc system so the parts that actually matter under load are built the way a much more expensive reel would build them.
