Gransfors Bruk axes come with a sheath made from vegetable-tanned leather. Vegetable-tanned leather is free from heavy metals and is biodegradable. Gransfors Bruk has specifically chosen not to use chrome-tanned leather as we feel that its green credentials are not sufficiently high. Edge guards are available in different designs depending on the axe model. This sheath is designed to fit the following models: Gransfors Bruk Splitting Hatchet Gransfors Bruk Small Splitting Axe
