Full mittens are ideal on frigid rides when trapping all the warm insulating air is essential. However, mittens significantly reduce dexterity for braking and shifting control. Adding an efficient middle-ground option, Gore Wear’s GORE-TEX Thermo Split Gloves are packed with element resistance and thermal protection while keeping the index finger free to roam. The split-finger design allows for one-finger braking and precision shifting on the controls while maintaining a confident grip on the bars with the thumb and other fingers. Windproof and water-resistant, the Thermo braces against harsh winter riding conditions with relative ease.
