Effectively filters out contaminants and improves taste : The membrane microfilter protects against bacteria (including E.coli and Salmonella), parasites (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium), microplastics, sand, dirt, and cloudiness. The secondary carbon filter reduces chlorine, odors, and organic chemical matter. Long lasting filtering effectiveness : The membrane microfilter treats up to 1,000 gallons (4,000 L) or about five full years of daily use! The carbon filter lasts up to 26 gallons (100 L). Replacement filters can be purchased separately. Saves waste and gives back : The life of each membrane microfilter is the equivalent of 8,000 single use plastic water bottles!
