Gable & Plain NV Red Blend Portugal

From Penrose Hill

a wine inspired by the open road and perfect for those moments when a comforting journey is all you need. This wine is inspired by a cross-country road trip where, for a long stretch, all that was seen were gables—the side of a barn roof—and the Great Plains. The wine is perfect after a long day when sometimes it feels like you've been driving for hours but haven't gotten very far. Despite its name, there is nothing "plain" about this wine. Warm vanilla, cozy baking spices, and a hint of graphite set the stage for this full-bodied wine. It's like a comforting bite of ripe blackberry and raspberry chutney with a dash of sweetness on the finish.
