From Backcountry
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve used the Alpha Direct Hoodie as both a midlayer and standalone for winter hikes and ski tours—it breathes incredibly well and dries super fast. It’s warm when I’m moving but never feels clammy. Plus, it layers easily under a shell and weighs next to nothing. Perfect for active missions in variable conditions."When we head into the backcountry, weight, breathability, and adaptability top our list—and the Polartec Alpha Direct Hoodie checks every box. Built for movement-intensive missions, this piece thrives as a lightweight insulation layer during ski tours, alpine climbs, or fast-paced winter treks.
