What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"This vest is a go-to in my kit when I want warmth without bulk. It layers cleanly under shells or over a midlayer, and it disappears into my pack when I don’t need it."Light, warm, and built for movement—the Bergtagen 60 Insulation Vest is engineered for mountain layering without the bulk. From belays and ski tours to fast and light hikes, this vest adds just enough core warmth when the temps drop, without slowing us down. The design is sleek, alpine-ready, and ideal for use beneath a shell or over a base layer. Built with recycled polyester throughout, it’s padded with PrimaLoft® Silver Rise insulation using P. U. R.
