The Ergon SC Core Prime saddle is designed for city and comfort touring bikes, with an upright riding position in mind. It has been awarded the seal of quality from the "Campaign for Healthier Backs" for its ability to reduce strain on the back. Ergon's Ergonomics Laboratory optimized the saddle's surface design to accommodate the anatomical requirements of both men and women in very upright riding positions. The saddle features a pronounced relief channel that helps prevent numbness and related seating issues. It combines soft orthopedic comfort foam with a heavy-duty microfibre surface for durability and comfort.
