From Backcountry
Ergon developed the GE1 Evo Grips for those who prefer a more traditional grip, and plan to run them on wider riser bars typical on the enduro circuit. The GE1 Evo is the evolution of the popular GE1 refined by feedback collected from professional riders. It actively supports the correct torso and forearm position for when the trail points down and because the grip is rotated towards the steering axis by 8-percent, elbows are automatically up and in the attack position. Compared to the standard GE1, the surface texture is even more aggressive and the rubber compound is softer providing optimal grip without having to white-knuckle the bars.
