From Backcountry
A long climb before the first run asks a lot of a base layer, and the Icecold Merino Wool Top holds up with an extended back and integrated thumb loops that keep the sleeves in place. Flatlock seams help prevent chafing through every step and every turn. The merino blend breathes, wicks moisture, and resists odor, so the same top suits ski days, snowboard sessions, and hikes. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I pull a helmet or beanie over this top, and the collar's extra-high cut at the back sits underneath it. On the chairlift, that same height keeps wind and cold off my neck."
