From Ascent Outdoors
Based on the proven construction of the EAGLE LITE we have developed a rope that is particularly robust and is still suitable for sport climbing and projecting routes. To this end we use Protect technology which incorporates high-strength aramid fibers into the sheath using a specially developed braiding process. This technology and the adjustment of other production parameters strengthen the sheath and increase the rope&';s cut resistance. For a particularly compact and fine sheath structure the EAGLE LITE PROTECT PRO DRY is processed on a braiding machine with 48 bobbins which has a positive impact on handling and abrasion resistance.
