From Trident Fly Fishing
The Echo Traverse Fly Rod Kit is the whole rig in one box and unusually for a boxed outfit the rod inside it does not exist anywhere else. Echo says plainly that they designed the Traverse rod as an exclusive for this kit so the blank was tapered around the reel the line and the price of the package rather than pulled off the shelf to fill it out. What ships is a 9ft 4 piece Traverse rod in the line weight you pick an ECHO ION fly reel that arrives already spooled with backing a premium weight forward floating fly line a tapered leader and a carrying case. Add tippet and a fly and you are fishing.Echo builds the Traverse Kit in four models and we stock all four.
