ECHO Overcast Fly Rod Series Built for Maximum Line Speed in Saltwater Conditions When Flip Pallot challenged ECHO to answer a simple question-"Who wouldn&';t want more line speed "-the Overcast series was born. Designed in collaboration with Tim Rajeff Overcast fly rods are purpose-built for saltwater anglers facing the usual saltwater challenges: wind distance accuracy demands and heavier flies. After extensive testing the Tim and Flip determined that increased line speed starts with a precisely engineered longer lever. The result is a 9&';3" rod that balances power control and casting efficiency without compromise.
