From Trident Fly Fishing
The Echo Lift Kit Fly Rod Outfit is the box you buy when the goal is to be fishing next weekend rather than shopping for another month. Bought piece by piece a rod a reel a line backing and a leader are five separate decisions and the usual result is a rod that outclasses the reel or a line that never quite loads the rod. Echo builds the Lift Kit the other way around. You get a four piece Lift rod an Echo Base reel a floating fly line backing a tapered leader and a fabric covered case that carries the rod and the reel together all chosen by the people who designed the rod.
