From Trident Fly Fishing
Some rods earn their reputation in shootouts and the Sky G has done exactly that. Now Douglas has packed that same award-winning performance into a travel format and the result is a rod you can stash in a carry-on without giving up the effortless casting and feather-light feel that made the Sky G famous. Built on some of the lightest blanks and lowest swing weights in its class the Sky G Travel is a moderate-fast 5wt that loads smoothly at trout distances delivers pinpoint accuracy and still has the reserve power to handle wind dry-dropper rigs and strong fish.
