What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The 17L is the size I use most—it’s perfect for day trips or a long beach afternoon. It fits plenty of drinks, is easy to carry with the strap, and the no-zipper lid is so much smoother to use. It also stacks perfectly on my Recon hardside for road trips."Sized right between quick day bags and full weekend haulers, the Recon ZL 17L Cooler is our go-to for road trips, beach days, and park hangs. With capacity for 28 cans and FrostCore™ insulation to keep them cold, it packs in plenty without feeling bulky. Instead of wrestling with zippers, the dual-hinge latches open smoothly from either side—or let you remove the lid completely for easy loading.
