Domaine de la Galopière, located in Bligny-lès-Beaune, Burgundy, boasts five generations of vignerons. The family wine estate is currently managed by Gabriel Fournier and his son, Vincent Fournier. Their Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays come from vines that extend across Meursault, Ladoix, Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Pommard, and Chassagne-Montrachet. This wine originates from the specific appellation of Chassagne-Montrachet, a long, wandering village in the Côte de Beaune. Most famous for its white wines, it is one of the few places in the Côte d'Or where both red and white wines are produced from Premier Cru vineyards.
