What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The Guide Lite SL is what I recommend when someone wants a serious alpine day pack without the weight penalty of a fully featured mountaineering pack. The SL back length makes a real difference for smaller frames — the load sits higher and tighter against the body which matters on technical terrain where pack movement costs you. The Delrin U-frame gives enough structure to carry a real load and the removable hip belt means you can strip weight on routes where you don't need it.
