The Deps Sakamata Shad Soft Jerkbait is a highly refined soft jerkbait designed and built in Japan. Its unique body shape and hydrodynamic profile make it easy to perform a side-to-side darting action, even with slight twitches from the rod tip. This erratic baitfish action is big bass's weakness. The Deps Sakamata Shad Soft Jerkbait is deadly when fished weightless on an EWG style hook and twitched at both slow and fast speeds. It can also be rigged on a small split shot or a heavy Carolina-rig to target fish in deeper water. Offered in multiple colors and sizes, this soft jerkbait gives the fish a new look and helps you bring more weight to the scales.
