AirFilters.com With air pollution accounting for 95% of all respiratory disease, it is important that your air purification system maintains the highest efficiency possible. One way to do this is with a pre-filter. Pre-filters are specially designed to remove large particles that easily clog a filter, thereby prolonging the filter life of the main filter and increasing its efficiency. This particular product is a replacement pre-filter blanket designed to fit Day and NightA(R) whole house HEPA Jr. air purifier model P102-450. It uses activated carbon, which is charcoal treated with oxygen to create millions of extremely tiny, highly absorbent pores.
