AirFilters.com Air purifier filters are specifically designed to remove particles from rooms where you need it the most, but filters can become clogged easily, especially in places that are more heavily polluted. That's why you need a pre-filter. Pre-filters trap large particles that easily clog a filter, keeping your main filter more efficient for trapping smaller, more harmful pollutants. This particular product is a replacement pre-filter for Day and NightA(R) air purifier models 31KAX020, 901KAX020, and P101-20. It uses activated carbon to trap large airborne particles like dust, pet dander, mold spores, and pollen, and it also absorbs odors.
