From Fishermans Marine
Purpose built for the giant bluefin tuna fisheries of the West Coast the Daiwa Proteus Tuna Special Rail Rod puts the ultimate fighting power in the hands of any tuna hunter. With the technique of rail fishing evolving into a more popular and widespread technique the Proteus Tuna Special seeks to provide offshore anglers the perfect rail rod without having to be custom built or altered to protect the boat or the rod blank. The Tuna Special&';s most notable feature is the extremely durable oversized foregrip meant for resting on the rail or gunnel during the fight.
