Daiwa Crossfire LT Spinning Reel - Prior Year Model - Engineering of the Daiwa Crossfire LT Spinning Reel was guided by the LT Concept of lighter, tougher reel designs utilizing state of the art composites. The LT cuts as much as 20 percent of the reel weight from the old Crossfire design. A fact not lost on an angler who has put in a long day of fishing. The solid ABS Aluminum Spool resists flexing and distorting and is deep enough to hold plenty of line yardage. The heart of the reel is the cold forged and precision milled Digigears. The state of the art manufacturing process optimizies the meshing between the main and pinion gears.
