The Daiwa BG MQ Spinning Reel is built on a Monocoque (MQ) one-piece machined aluminum frame with rubber seals enclosing the gearbox at all key intrusion points - delivering a waterproof rigid platform that protects internal components from saltwater sand and debris in the harshest fishing environments. The Waterproof Advanced Tournament Drag (ATD) system delivers smooth consistent drag pressure from the first pull while the Air Rotor reduces rotational inertia for faster line pickup and more responsive feel. Precision Digigear cold-forged aluminum gears maintain silky-smooth retrieve performance over extended use.
