Pro-level casting technology at an entry-level price. The Daiwa Aird 80 Baitcasting Reel is built around Daiwa&';s MagForce LC-Concept braking system - the same magnetic cast control technology found in higher-end Daiwa reels - delivering smooth long-distance casts with dramatically reduced backlash for anglers of all skill levels. Compact and lightweight at just 7.0 oz the Aird 80 is an ideal all-purpose bass fishing baitcaster. The 7.5:1 high-speed gear ratio handles everything from burning spinnerbaits to fast-paced topwater work while the 90mm swept handle with rubberized grips provides the leverage and control needed when fighting bigger fish.
