From Trident Fly Fishing
High-altitude meadow streams void of tree coverage tiny freestone blue lines full of selective brook trout and crystal clear limestone spring creeks-Cortland designed their Trout Series Headwater Fly Line for all these tough salmonid situations. Combining a true-to-weight line rating with a short body and front taper this line lands flies softly while also loading rods effectively especially up close. Cortland builds these lines with a supple braid core that prevents memory from building up when stored on the small reels that are so typically used in this style of fishing and a muted olive color ensures stealth is at the front of every cast.
