The Cortland Trout Double Taper Fly Line is engineered for anglers who prioritize line control delicate presentations and drag-free drifts over raw distance. Built on a braided nylon multifilament core this line remains exceptionally supple allowing it to conform to surface currents rather than fighting them. It serves as an essential tool for technical trout fishing in small to medium-sized waters where the ability to manipulate the line on the water is just as important as the cast itself.Best For Technical Dry Fly and Nymphing - This line is designed for targeting wary trout in spring creeks tailwaters and freestone rivers where micro-drag results in refusals.
