When you&';re looking for a line that gets your flies just under the surface and provides a nice slow sink Cortland&';s Classic 444 Intermediate Fly Line has just what you need without a steep price. Combining a relatively thin running line that&';s built on a braided multifilament core with a compact head the Classic 444 will load your rod well and punch into blustery conditions whenever the weather picks up. The Classic 444 is built in line weights 5 through 8 with a 1.5-2 IPS sink rate making it perfect for shallow conditions or when fish are looking up for a meal and you need that hovering presentation to your flies.
