From Trident Fly Fishing
As fly rods continue to get stiffer and lines continue to feature more aggressive tapers and heavier heads Cortland has created a line series that harkens back to the older days of fly fishing. Built to be partnered with moderate action rods the Cortland 444 Classic series takes a delicate approach to freshwater fly angling. This is a great line for anglers who prefer bamboo fly rods and features an ultrathin diameter for improved delicacy and performance. Features Welded Loop High Floating Coating - Cortland has built a few different features into this line to keep it simple and functional on the water.
