From Trident Fly Fishing
The Cortland 444 Classic Intermediate fly line delivers stealthy subsurface presentations with a glass-smooth finish that cuts through the wind and sinks uniformly. Built for anglers targeting wary fish feeding just below the surface film this line shines in stillwater lakes and slow-moving rivers. The supple coating resists memory in chilly environments ensuring straight-line connections for detecting subtle strikes on unweighted nymphs and small streamers.Best ForStillwater and Subsurface Presentations - This line sinks at a slow 1.5 to 2.0 inches per second suspending flies precisely in the upper water column.
