From Colorado Cyclist
The Der Kaiser Projekt are fast all-round race tires for serious downhill and enduro riders. Efficient propulsion, phenominal braking power and precise handling in the turns can be expected from these tires. The profile and design is derived directly from the toughest World Cup courses. Designed to handle the toughest rocky and muddy terrain ProTection Apex casing combines the proven 'ProTection' nylon bonus layer with an additional rubber apex sidewall stabilizer above the bead which reliably protects the tire against puncturing, even if the tire pressure is low. This system protects the tire reliably against cuts and puncturing without significantly increasing weight
