Continental Contact Urban 20" Wire Tire City Miles, Covered Commuters and urban riders on 20" bikes need a tire that rolls fast on pavement and shrugs off the debris that city streets throw at them. The Contact Urban is built around that exact problem. A slick center keeps rolling resistance low on straightaways, while a treaded shoulder gives you grip when you lean into corners on slick asphalt. The Safety Pro breaker layer under the tread is what sets this tire apart from a basic city clincher - cross-woven nylon textile cuts the risk of flats from glass and sharp stones without loading the tire up with extra weight.
