The Competition TT is an even faster time trial tire due to the delicate carcass. Excellent acceleration can be achieved thanks to the application of a latex tube and smooth central tread pattern. The classic TT tire for strong acceleration Tubular construction Vectran Breaker is spun from liquid crystal-polymer to create a multiple-thread thermoplastic yarn. This partially crystalline fabric is more cut-resistant than aramid and its tensile strength is five times higher than that of steel.
