What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I carry this on almost every hike because the grid fleece balances warmth and breathability really well. It never feels swampy, even on steep climbs, and the chest pocket is perfect for a snack or a map. It's one of those layers that disappears into your pack until you need it."We set out for variable days on the trail, knowing the Essential Hike Grid Fleece 1/2-Zip Pullover from Columbia will keep us comfortable as temperatures shift. The soft grid-back fleece traps warmth while promoting airflow, giving us that ideal middle ground on mornings that start cool and warm gradually with elevation.
