From Backcountry
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Columbia Shoaltech Hoodie on a backcountry float trip where the bugs were genuinely relentless at dawn and dusk, and the Insect Shield technology made a real difference without any spray or hassle. Combined with solid UPF 50 coverage through the heat of the day, it handled two completely different problems in one piece, which I really appreciated when I was trying to keep my kit light."The stretches of water worth fishing are rarely the comfortable ones. They tend to come with low light, heavy bug pressure, and hours of sun exposure once the morning burns off.
