What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I grabbed the Columbia Essential Hike Grid Fleece Full-Zip Jacket for my kid as a go-everywhere layer and it has lived up to that completely. The grid fleece is light enough that they actually wear it without complaining, and the stretch binding at the collar and cuffs keeps it comfortable through the kind of active, unpredictable days that test gear more than any trail ever will."The best kids' layers are the ones they reach for without being asked, and the Columbia Essential Hike Grid Fleece Full-Zip Jacket tends to earn that status fast.
