What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I like these for days when I’m bouncing between town and trail. The twill has a soft, broken-in feel but still holds up to scrambling around. The stash pockets are actually useful too—great for keeping a knife, chapstick, or keys close without weighing me down."We reach for the Acker Rock Twill 5in Shorts from Columbia when warm days push us outdoors, and comfort matters as much as durability. The cotton-blend twill feels soft from the start yet sturdy enough for spontaneous detours—whether we’re wandering forest roads inspired by Oregon’s Umpqua region or easing into an unplanned afternoon outside.
