From Orvis
The Clearwater 906-4 is a powerful trout and light bass rod with the backbone to handle big streamers, hair poppers, dropper setups, and nymph rigs with ease. The 9' 6-weight is equally at home pounding the banks from a drift boat or dropping poppers along the edge of lily pads. In Alaska, it has the power to throw mouse patterns and fish egg patterns and flesh flies for big rainbows. When conditions call for bigger flies and bigger fish, this rod is built for the job. The Clearwater® Rod Series has stood the test of time, claiming its rightful position as the best fly rod you can buy for the money.
