From Orvis
The Clearwater 103-4 is specifically designed to enhance European nymphing tactics. Its sensitivity and reach make it ideal for maintaining contact with a multiple-fly nymphing rig. Paired with a Tactical Nymph line, the 10' 3-weight offers reduced line sag and better contact for quicker reactions to subtle takes. Beyond Euro techniques, this rod can also be used to fish a single dry fly, dry/dropper rigs, or nymph with a strike indicator. The Clearwater® Rod Series has stood the test of time, claiming its rightful position as the best fly rod you can buy for the money.
