From Hobby Town
The Castle Creations 8S CapPack 2240UF Capacitor Pack is useful in all high voltage brushless motor applications. Ripple voltage is hard on an ESC, and one of the leading causes of ESC failure. This cap pack helps by providing that little boost needed to overcome ripples in the battery voltage caused by hard acceleration or long battery wires, helping to reduce the load on the controller's on-board capacitors. This CapPack uses four 560microF, 35V capacitors totaling 2240microF, which increases its ripple reducing capabilities. It can be used with LiPo batteries up to 8 cells. If your batteries are greater than 8s (35V) then you will need the 880microF, 50V CapPack.
