From MidwayUSA

Carhartt's Canvas Work Shorts are made from lightweight yet durable, 7.5 ounce, 100% ring-spun cotton canvas that will last though tough wear and long workdays. They sit slightly above the waist for a comfortable fit. A hammer loop and ruler pocket, left-leg, and utility band and tool pocket, right-leg, keep items close at hand. Stronger sewn-on-seam belt loops add durability over time to help keep your shorts up.
